Monthly luncheons are a way for spouses to meet new people and experience the community in and around Fort Rucker. Landmarks such as The Rawls, The Enterprise Farmers Market, and The Holman Mansion in Ozark are just a few of the fun locations we have explored in the past. Luncheon doors usually open at 10:00 for sign in, social time and to shop vendors if available. Club business and lunch wrap up around 1:00 with a game or activity to conclude the fun day. Themes from Travel Fair, Bunco Bingo, Luau and Octoberfest are just a few of the ways we make each gathering memorable. The Fairy Godmother Project provides gently-used formal dresses to students and spouses. Hundreds of gowns are available and provided at no cost to high school students in need. Whether for fall Homecoming, spring Prom or year-round military events, the Fairy Godmother is the perfect place to find your next gown. New and gently-used formal wear can be donated to support the Fairy Godmother Project at any time. To donate or learn more email email@example.com. To learn more, visit and follow the Facebook page.
Sweetheart Bingo is a fantastic annual philanthropic event. Each year the Fort Rucker Community Spouses' club hosts fourteen senior citizen centers from Enterprise, Ozark, and Daleville. What started as a small-scale bingo event, with snacks and prizes, has blossomed. Participants enjoy a hot breakfast, snacks, 7 big bingo prizes such as last year’s Big TV prize, 4 special prizes, and 80 to 90 door prizes. When the day is done, there will be 300 smiling faces and 800 cups of coffee served. This is made possible by the kindness of dozens of volunteers. These volunteers are from the club’s membership as well as community volunteers pour coffee, assist with bingo cards, and enjoy time with valuable members of our senior community. It is a fun and heartfelt morning for all. For sponsorship or volunteer information email firstname.lastname@example.org
